Visa Files is a private service provider assisting clients with submitting Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) requests, including GCMS Notes requests, to Canadian government departments.

We are not affiliated with the Government of Canada, IRCC, CBSA, or any official agency.

2. Service Scope

• We assist in preparing and submitting ATIP requests.
• We do not influence or expedite government processing.
• Processing timelines (typically 30–35 days) are controlled by the government.

3. Fees & Payments

Our service fee is clearly displayed before payment. Payments are processed securely via third-party payment providers.

All payments are for service assistance only and are generally non-refundable once the request is submitted.

4. User Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and complete information.
• You are responsible for the correctness of your application details.
• Incorrect information may delay processing or result in rejection.

5. Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. All personal data is handled securely and used only for the purpose of processing your request.

• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
• Data is transmitted securely using encrypted connections.
• Information is retained only as long as necessary for service delivery and compliance.

6. File Delivery

Once your GCMS/ATIP file is received, it will be made available for download through your tracking portal.

Files may be removed after download or after a reasonable time period for security reasons.

7. Limitation of Liability

Visa Files is not responsible for delays, refusals, or decisions made by government authorities.

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.
